Hockey background

I started playing hockey at the age of 7 after watching my brother playing and growing up with my parents who both played in South Africa and New Zealand. I have only ever played for Ryde Hunter’s Hill District Hockey Club and have been at the club for just over 10/11 years. I started playing for first grade in 2004. I have been a part of the Australian under 21’s ‘Jillaroo’s’ hockey team, 2008 – current and am a NSWIS (NSW Institute of Sport) scholarship holder as well as a current NSW AHL (Australian Hockey League) member.

The highlight of my career playing for Ryde

Scoring 9 goals in one game playing for 1st Grade, getting the highest goal scorer in 5 consecutive years and meeting some of the most inspiring coaches and friends through the club.

Why I play hockey for Ryde

The family environment has comes along with playing for the club, the friendly and supportive nature of the people within the club and the friendships I have made throughout the years with people across every area/aspect of the club.

Outside hockey I enjoy

Relaxing at the beach, shopping and traveling/going on little adventures.
