School Term Dates 2026:

  • Term 1 – Monday 2 February to Thursday 2 April 2026
  • Term 2 – Wednesday 22 April to Friday 3 July 2026
  • Term 3 – Tuesday 21 July 2026 to Friday 25 September 2026
  • Term 4 – Tuesday 13 October to Thursday 17 December 2026

Please Note: There will be season breaks in the school holidays. Exact dates where there will be no games tbc.

U6 Minkey     Born 2019 + 2020    1/8 field     6 athletes (no GK)
U8 Minkey     Born 2017 + 2018     1/4 field     7 athletes (no GK)

U10 Junior     Born 2015 + 2016     1/2 field     7 athletes + GK
U12a Junior   Born 2013 + 2014     full field     10 athletes + GK 

U12b/c           Born 2013 + 2014     1/2 field     7 athletes + GK

U14 Junior     Born 2011 + 2012     full field     10 athletes + GK

U16 Junior     Born 2009 + 2010     full field     10 athletes + GK
U18 Junior     Born 2007 + 2008     full field     10 athletes + GK

Note: The Sydney-wide A-grade ‘Metro’ competition is for U14 + U16 A-grade teams only. All other teams play in the Sydney North Area competition.
Note: For U18 athletes junior hockey is optional (when considering playing seniors hockey).

U12 Saturday’s 14 Feb, 21 Feb & 28 Feb 9:45am – 11:00am
U14 Sunday’s 15 Feb, 22 Feb & 1 Mar 8.15am – 9:30am
U16 Sunday’s 15 Feb, 22 Feb & 1 Mar 9:45am – 11:00am

Training days and times have varied slightly this year, so please see the below.

2026 Weekly Juniors Training
U14 Monday 5.45 – 7pm
U12 Tuesday 5.30 – 6.45pm
U16 + U18 Wednesday 5.30 – 6.45pm
U10 + Minkeys Thursday 5.30 – 6.45pm

All sessions are at Ryde.

 

Season Dates:

Some initial dates for the calendar to help you all plan the year ahead.

 

  • Pre-Season Training (Except Minkeys) commences in the week beginning Monday March 2nd.
  • First Games for all Teams & Divisions (except Minkeys) will be on Friday 13 March for U14, U16 & U18, and Saturday 14 March for U10 & U12
  • All U10 – U18 competitions will have games on the weekend of 17 & 18 April, which is the last weekend of the Easter School Holidays
  • Also, U10, U12, U14 & U18 competitions will have games on the weekend of 17 & 18 July, which is the last weekend of the July School Holidays
  • Last games of the regular season are Friday 21 & Saturday 22 of August, followed by finals.
  • Grand Finals will be on Friday 11 & Saturday 12 September
