‘Pink Socks’ Gala Day – 17th July

On Sunday 17th July, Ryde Hockey are holding a ‘Pink Socks’ gala day in conjunction with Macquarie University at our home ground, Keith Thompson Hockey Centre. This gala day is in support of the McGrath Foundation’s ‘Pull on Your Socks’ fundraising initiative to raise money for Breast Cancer.

The day will feature both SWHL and SNWHA Women’s games as well as two Men’s SHA games.

Game times will be as follows:

9am – Women’s Sydney Uni 7 vs Macquarie Uni 4 (SNWHA B Division)

10:30am – Women’s Ryde 7 vs Macquarie Uni 5 (SNWHA D Division)

12pm – Women’s Ryde 4 vs Macquarie Uni 2 (SWHL ML4)

1.30pm – Men’s Ryde 2 vs Macquarie Uni (SPL 4)

3pm – Women’s Ryde 2 vs Macquarie Uni 1 (SWHL ML2)

4.30pm – Men’s Ryde 2 vs Macquarie Uni (SPL 2)

6pm – Women’s Mirrabooka Uni Girls vs Macquarie Uni 6 (SNWHA D Division)

 

On the day we asking all players and supporters to please bring along a gold coin donation for the McGrath Foundation. All proceeds raised from the BBQ and raffle will also be going to the McGrath foundation.

Macquarie University will be wearing pink socks.
