Sydney Super 9‘s Pre-season
Tournament @Ryde Hockey Centre

1st & 2nd March 2014

Following on from the
success of Hockey Australia’s International Super Series in Perth, Ryde Hockey
Club is bringing the exciting Hockey 9s format to Sydney Hockey. Taking place
at the Ryde Hockey Centre over the weekend of 1st & 2nd March 2014, the
Hockey 9s Pre-season tournament will include Sydney Premier League Men’s and
Women’s teams with the aim of creating a fun, party atmosphere combined with
exciting, fast paced hockey!

There will be 8 teams
competing in both the Men’s & Women’s competitions with games being played
across the whole weekend. Sunday afternoon will see the teams play off in the
finals to determine final placings. Over the one weekend you will see Sydney’s
best male and female players competing in this action packed format of our game.

Save the date to come on
down and support our players as they take on the best in Sydney. The BBQ will
be pumping from early morning, there will be a raffle and live commentary.
Bring along your family, bring along your friends – especially those who don’t
know how good our game is. Bring a friend’s child who might be inspired to take
up hockey by showing them what is possible!

Your club is the first on
the Sydney scene to host a tournament of this format and it is up to us to make
it a success.

expected to attend the weekend will provide an opportunity to support your club

cater for such a large and important tournament will be enhanced if we have
